16 Old Negro Spirituals CD-2 is dedicated to Cherrye's brother,George Calvin Bess, Jr.  The slained civil rights worker was registering students to vote  with the SNCC Movement in Mississippi in 1967.. He never returned home.  Cherrye was 5 years old and remembers singing at the meetings and she remembers that DAY!
